§ Mr. RowlandsInformation suggesting that British companies have been involved in breaches of sanctions is first of all examined by my right hon. Friend's Department. Where further inquiries are necessary to establish whether an offence has been committed it is passed to the appropriate Whitehall Departments for further investigation and any subsequent action.
