§ Mr. EadieIn answer to Questions in the House on 29th April 1976 and 17th February 1977 my Department has announced programmes of £1.01 million in two years on wave power and an increased programme of £3.6 million in four years on solar energy which is estimated to bring the total amount to be spent on solar by the Government as a whole to £6 million over that period. We are carrying out studies on wind energy and tidal energy.
