§ Mr. Ovendenasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what action she is taking, in view of the reductions in child tax allowances, to protect from financial loss the families of students who are in receipt of maximum grants.
§ Mr. OakesArrangements for compensating parents of students for reduction in child tax allowances are under consideration and my right hon. Friend will make an announcement as soon as possible.
