§ Mr. MoyleThis 16-year-old purpose-built artificial limb and appliance centre functions independently of the nearby hospital, except for a common heating source. Completely independent operation would be practicable.

§ Mr. MoyleIf no longer required for National Health Service purposes the hospital premises would be subject to the procedures for the disposal of surplus Government property whereby it is offered to other Government Departments, local authorities and housing corporations. If not required by these authorities the district valuer would be asked to advise on its disposal on the open market.
§ Mr. Parryasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will publish in the Official Report the amount of public expenditure spent on upgrading and modernising the Mill Road Maternity Hospital in each of the past 10 years to the latest available date.
