§ Mr. Cartwrightasked the Secretary of State for Industry when he expects to be able to announce proposals for the involvement of the co-operative movement in his consideration of the concept of a co-operative development agency.
§ Mr. CryerIt has been decided to establish a joint working group to develop further the idea of a co-operative 211W development agency. The group will include officials from Government Departments concerned with the various forms of co-operative activity and representatives of the principal co-operative organisations.
My right hon. Friend the Minister of State, Department of Industry, will chair the first meeting of the working group later this month.
