asked the Secretary of State for Employment by how much unemployment has risen in Liverpool since February 1974.

Mr. Golding

Between 11th February 1974 and 10th February 1977 the numbers registered as unemployed in the Liverpool travel-to-work area rose by 31,064.

Mr. Loyden

asked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will publish in the Official Report the number employed in the following industries in the Liverpool travel-to-work area for the years 1960 and 1977; docks, building construction, engineering, shipbuilding, ship repair, transport, distribution, warehousing, merchant shipping and telecommunications.
