§ Mr. McElhoneDecisions about the intake of students to individual colleges of education must await the outcome of consultations on my right hon. Friend's proposals for teacher training from 1977 onwards.
§ Mr. Rifkindasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what restrictions exist with regard to the future use of the buildings which presently form Craiglockhart College of Education, if that college were to close.
§ Mr. McElhonePart of the buildings is owned by the Society of the Sacred Heart and part by the governing body of the college. The future use of that part of the buildings owned by the society would be a matter for the society. The governing body will no doubt advise me about any restrictions on possible future use of its buildings.
§ Mr. Rifkindasked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he will have discussions with the trustees of the Society of the Sacred Heart with regard to the future of Craiglockhart College of Education.
