§ Dr. SummerskillThe appropriate fee, determined by reference to the fees paid generally to lawyers in private practice for work undertaken in the public service, is £45 a day. It is payable in respect of time spent on work connected with the inquiry, including presiding at the inquiry and preparing the report.
