Mr. ArthurLewis asked the Secretary of State for Social Services why it took until 21st June to send a formal acknowledgment card to the letter sent to him by the hon. Member for Newham, North-West dated 2nd June 1977, Ref. P.O. (MIN-H) 1323/28, as this did not need any investigation or examination.
