§ Mr. William RodgersThe A1 trunk road between the North Circular Road and Winchester Road has been the subject of public inquiries in recent years. Many representations have been received by the Department but details are not readily available and could not be obtained without disproportionate cost.
The short length of trunk road southwards from Winchester Road has already been widened. Further south the A1 is a 294W metropolitan road and the responsibility of the Greater London Council.
