asked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will list the towns in the United Kingdom in which 10 per cent. or more of the working population are employed in the steel industry.

Industrial analyses of the numbers of employees in employment are compiled for employment office areas. The following table gives information in respect of June 1975, the latest date for which these figures are available.Employment office areas in the United Kingdom in which 10 per cent. or more of all employees in employment are working in the steel industry (Minimum List Headings 311 and 312 of the Standard Industrial Classification).
