§ Mr. MoyleNo such central proposals have been made, apart from guidance on the design of wards to facilitate flexibility in use. There have been no discussions with health authorities on this subject and I regard the use of mixed wards as a matter to be dealt with locally. It is open to community health councils, who represent the interests in the health service of the public in their districts, to raise the matter as appropriate with their area health authorities.
