Mr. Sandelsonasked the Secretary of State for Trade whether he has received any representations from the trade unions concerning the phasing out of the use of private security agencies for passenger searching in United Kingdom airports 2W under the management of the British Airports Authority.
§ Mr. Clinton DavisI have not received any representations from the trade unions since I announced the proposed changes in passenger searching arrangements at British Airports Authority airports. I had discussions with the Transport and General Workers Union before making the announcement. They welcomed the change.
