asked the Lord President of the Council whether he will list, by office or by title, all those employed within the Palace of Westminster, other than those in the service of the House of Lords, who are in receipt of a salary in excess of £6,200 per annum.

In accordance with Mr. Speaker's statement of 20th May 1975, a complete statement of the complement of staff of the House showing their rates of pay is annexed to the Annual Report of the Commissioners for regulating the Offices of the House of Commons. This is available in the Vote Office.

Apart from staff of the House, the following personnel employed within the Palace of Westminster are in receipt of annual salaries in excess of £6,200: Resident Enginer and District Works Officer; Surveyor; Depot Superintendent (Mechanical and Electrical Engineering) Superintendent (Building and Construction); Catering Manager; Executive Chef. The responsibilities of the first four of these posts extend to both Houses of Parliament.
