§ Mr. Denzil DaviesThe latest information relates to 1975 when, in Great Britain, 356,000 one-parent families and 540,000 two-parent families with dependent children had incomes below the tax threshold. Of these, 74,000 and 210,000, respectively, had heads of families in employment, but it is not known how many were full-time and how many part-time employees.
