HC Deb 21 June 1977 vol 933 c474W
Mr. Roderick

asked the Secretary of State for Wales how much money is to be spent on improvements at Knighton Hospital; and what these improvements will entail.

Mr. Barry Jones

The improvements, estimated to cost £282,000 will replace badly outmoded parts of the old building with a new ward unit of 13 geriatric and five GP medical beds, and two maternity beds, in addition to improvements in various support services. The work will be completed in 1978.
