§ Mr. Richard Wainwrightasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what action he proposes to take following the publication of the Consumers' Committee for Great Britain report on the effect of the potato marketing scheme on consumers.
§ Mr. BishopThe report was published on 14th June. As the hon. Member will realise, the recommendations cover matters which are for the Board to consider, apart from the recommendation that the committee should be given the opportunity to comment on any proposed amendment to the scheme at the time when the draft amendment is submitted to Ministers. Administrative arrangements will be made to meet this recommendation.
