§ Mr. MacGregorasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what will be the increase in net take-home pay after August 1977 as compared with March 1977 of a married man with two children under 11 324W and one child aged between 11 and 16, earning gross £30, £40, £50, £60 and £70, respectively, resulting from child benefit and the tax changes in the current Finance Bill, including the amendment on the married personal allowance carried by Standing Committee D on 14th June, and on the assumption that his gross income will be increased by 10 per cent. after August.
