§ Mr. Hoyleasked the Secretary of State for Industry how much of the public money paid to Courtaulds Ltd. in respect of its textile factory in County Durham has been recovered by the Government.
§ Mr. CryerCourtaulds currently has textile factories at both Belmont and Spennymoor in County Durham. With the consent of the company, I am able to say that it has repaid regional development grants totalling £896,818 in respect of the Belmont weaving factory.
