(2) what present plans he has for extending such sections of dual carriageway as exist along the length of the A55 trunk road in Wales.
§ Mr. Barry JonesAfter the extension of the M4 has been completed we will give top priority to the provision of a dual carriageway from Chester to Bangor. Progress will depend on the outcome of statutory procedures and the availability of finance. The next contract to be let, later this year, will be for 2½ miles of dual carriageway east of Abergele.
