§ Mr. Merlyn ReesThere will be no net costs to central Government funds. Expenditure will be more than offset by the proceeds from the sale of Jubilee Crown pieces and souvenir medallions. We have no central record of local government spending on the celebrations, but local authorities were asked to bear in mind the Queen's express wish that there should be no undue expenditure.
