§ Mr. Harold WalkerSections 17–21 of the Act will come into force on 22nd August. The related Code of Practice on Disclosure of Information to Trade Unions for Collective Bargaining Purposes, having been approved by Parliament, will also come into effect on that date. The orders bringing in the Act's provisions and the code have now been published.
The approved code of practice has been issued today by the Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service under Section 6 of the Employment Protection Act 1975.
