The Government is considering a report which the NEB prepared at my right hon. Friend's request about the investment potential of the areas affected by the Plessey closures on Wearside and Merseyside. I understand that that report will be published soon, and my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Industry hopes to make a statement to the House.
