§ Mr. John GrantI am advised by the Chairman of the Health and Safety Commission that very few representations have so far been received on the proposed scheme for the notification of the toxic properties of substances following the publication of the Discussion Document on 14th June 1977. The closing date for comment on the Discussion Document is not until 31st October 1977 and the main bulk of representations is likely to be656W made nearer that date. At this stage it is not possible to give an assessment of the general reaction to the proposals.
