§ Mrs. Chalkerasked the Secretary of State for Energy what reply he has made to the plans submitted to him by Friends of the Earth of Durham for a nation-wide insulation programme.
§ Dr. John A. CunninghamFriends of the Earth of Durham submitted proposals to my right hon. Friend the Prime Minister on 1st June. My hon. Friend the Under-Secretary of State for the Environment replied on 20th July. As my hon. Friend said, the Government are at present giving consideration to further measures to encourage and facilitate home insulation and are grateful for the proposals which have been put forward.
