§ Mr. Monroasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he is satisfied with the operation of the Safety of Sports Grounds Act and the Green Code relating thereto; and if he will make a statement on progress with its implementation.
§ Mr. Merlyn ReesI have no reason to believe that the provisions of the Act will not be operated effectively. But until safety certificates have been issued in respect of designated grounds it would be premature to attempt any general 431W assessment of the impact of the Act. The position will be kept under review.
