HC Deb 28 July 1977 vol 936 c445W
Mr. Skinner

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether she will consult with the Derbyshire County Council about the replacement programme for all nineteenth century infant schools in Derbyshire.

Miss Margaret Jackson

I understand that there are about 200 nineteenth century primary schools in Derbyshire. The building allocation for 1978–79 includes a small element for improvement and replacement projects. It is for the Authority to determine its priorities within the overall financial limits of its total authorisation.
