I would refer the hon. Member to my reply to him on 20th July—[Vol. 935, c. 627]—describing the child benefit rules applying to absences abroad. The decision in any individual case would be a matter for the determining authorities, in the light of the particular circumstances of the case, under Section 7 of the Child Benefit Act.
