asked the Secretary of State for Prices and Consumer Protection what is the latest price of: a loaf, one pound of steak, one pound of cheese, one pint of milk, one pound of sugar, one pound of tea, one pound of coffee, a family sized packet of cornflakes, a three pound chicken, a large size tin of custard powder, one pound of butter, a jar of jam, a large can of beans, a large can of peas and a family sized tin of tomato soup; and how this compares with the prices obtaining in the same month in 1972, 1974 and 1975, respectively.
