asked the Secretary of State for Industry what total estimate he 634W has made for each of the next five years, respectively, of the annual saving in expenditure by reducing Aberdeen's travel-to-work-area's status from development area to intermediate area.

asked the Secretary of State for Industry what plans he has for further consultation between interested parties and his Department regarding the proposed downgrading of Aberdeen's travel to-work-area development status.

When I and my right hon. Friend the Minister of State, Scottish Office received a deputation from Aberdeen on 26th July, I explained that we would be willing to meet a further deputation.
