asked the Secretary of State for Prices and Consumer Protection if he will originate an investigation into the current prices and distributors' margins for potatoes and salad vegetables; and if he will make a statement.

Individual price increases are a matter for the Price Commission. I shall, however, bear my hon. Friend's suggestion in mind in considering subjects for examination by the Commission on my right hon. Friend's direction.

asked the Secretary of State for Prices and Consumer Protection whether he will publish in the Official Report as comprehensive a list as may be available of the prices of goods and services at a date in October 1974 and the latest available date; and what were the reasons for these increases in view of the success of the Government's wage control during this period.
