HC Deb 27 July 1977 vol 936 cc301-2W
Mr. Grylls

asked the Secretary of State for Employment, further to his reply to the hon. Member for Bridgwater (Mr. King) on 15th November 1976, whether the Health and Safety Commission has yet set up an Industry Advisory Committee for the ferrous foundry industry, as recommended by the sector working party report on the industry.

Mr. John Grant

I am informed by the Chairman of the Health and Safety Commission that the Foundries Industry Advisory Committee will probably be established later this year. Meanwhile, the existing Joint Standing Committee on Health, Safety and Welfare in Foundries is continuing its work until it is replaced by the Industry Advisory Committee.
