§ Mr. MaclennanInformation collected for the General Index of Retail Prices shows that in June 1977 the average cost 7W of meals in restaurants and cafes was 3 per cent., 22 per cent., 79 per cent., and 213 per cent. higher than in April 1977, April 1976, April 1974 and April 1970, respectively. No comparable information is available on a regional basis.
