asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they will publish a table showing in real terms, the increase or decrease in common prices (guide prices) for barley, milk, beef and pork for each year since 1967–68.

Estimated year-to-year percentage changes are given below. They are derived from price indices calculated by converting the Community common price for each product from units of account into the currencies of Member States at representative rates, and expressing these in real terms by deflating them by national price indices of gross domestic product. Each index for the Community as a whole was obtained by weighting the product index for each Member State by its share in the Community's production. The changes before 1973 relate to the original 6 Member States only.
