asked the Secretary of State for Employment how many people were employed in the textile industry in the United Kingdom in 1960, 1965, 1970, 1975, 1976 and currently.

The following table gives estimates of the numbers of employees in employment in the textiles industry in the United Kingdom up to June 1976 and at May 1977. Estimates for June 1977 are not yet available.
