asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what percentage of the national income was represented by wages and salaries in 1970, 1972, 1974 and 1976.

Following is the information:

1970 … … 68 per cent.
1972 … … 66.4 per cent.
1974 … … 6.96 per cent.
1976 … … 70.7 per cent.
