§ Mr. Hooleyasked the Secretary of State for Energy (1) if he will list in the Official Report the public expenditure in 1976 of each of the EEC countries, including the United Kingdom, on research and development of tidal power, expressing all figures in a £ sterling;
702W(2) if he will list in the Official Report the public expenditure in 1976 of each of the EEC countries, including the United Kingdom, on research and development of wave power, expressing all figures in £ sterling;
(3) if he will list in the Official Report the public expenditure in 1976 of each of the EEC countries, including the United Kingdom, on research and development of wind power, expressing all figures in £ sterling;
(4) if he will list in the Official Report the public expenditure in 1976 of each of the EEC countries, including the United Kingdom, on research and development of solar energy, expressing all figures in £ sterling;
(5) if he will list in the Official Report the public expenditure in 1976 of each of the EEC countries, including the United Kingdom, on research and development of geothermal energy, expressing all figures in £ sterling.
§ Mr. EadieThe public expenditure in 1976–77 in the United Kingdom on research and development of these forms of energy was approximately:

Friend to know that the Commission will shortly be publishing a report which will give some information.
