HC Deb 21 July 1977 vol 935 c642W
Mr. Stokes

asked the Lord President of the Council if he intends to take any further steps in connection with security arrangements in the Palace of Westminster, particularly having regard to the disturbances created by women in a Committee Room on Tuesday 12th July.

Mr. Foot

While the disturbance was regrettable, it was dealt with successfully. Incidents of this kind are rare. The security arrangements in the Palace of Westminster are at present being reviewed as a result of the Starritt Report and an announcement will be made in the near future.
