asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will make a further statement about the value of the green pound.

Mr. Bishop

The new rate for the green pound agreed at the last price-fixing now applies to beef, pigmeat and sugar and will be applied in full in all sectors by 1st April 1978. There is at present no proposal for a change in that rate.
