§ Mr. Shepherdasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if it is his intention that accession compensatory amounts will stop being applied to commodities within EEC commodity regimes after 31st December 1977.
§ Mr. BishopAccession compensatory amounts were introduced as part of the transitional arrangements under the Treaty of Accession, which provides that common support prices shall be applied in the United Kingdom and the other new member States by 1st January 1978 at the latest.
