§ Mr. Fryasked the Secretary of State for Transport if he will make a statement on the completion of the M3 motorway between Popham and the M27; and if this will he constructed to the required standards for e—routes in Europe.
§ Mr. HoramLike all schemes not yet under construction, the extension of the M3 from Popham to the M27 is being looked at in the light of the principles set out in the recent Transport Policy White Paper. The design of this section of the M3 is compatible with that for an E-route.
