§ Mr. OrmeYes. The Commission has carried out the duties laid on it by Parliament with compassion and good sense, and has made a valuable contribution to public debate on the problems of those living on low incomes. The Government accept, as the Commission, among others, has suggested, that the supplementary benefits scheme itself needs to be reviewed and that is why my right hon. Friend established last year a review team.
