§ Mr. MeacherIn 1977, under the Films Act 1960, the Department of Trade has issued 111 renters' licences to persons distributing cinematograph films to exhibitors and 1,471 annual licences and 277 part-year licences to cinemas exhibiting cinematograph films to the public. Licences may also be required for the export and import of certain commodities.
