Mr. Alan WilliamsThe investment intentions survey carried out by my Department during April and the first half of May indicated that the volume of investment by manufacturing industry in 1977 would be between 6 per cent. and 10 per cent. greater than in 1976; in 1978 it could show an increase of 20 per cent. or more.
