§ Mr. Sproatasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what powers his Department has to prevent persons coming from, respectively, Commonwealth and other foreign countries, who find a job for a short time, leave the job and then spend the rest of the summer making no serious attempt to find another job, from living off British social security benefits.
