§ Mr. Merlyn ReesNo. My hon. Friend may recall that this subject was carefully considered in 1975 by the Advisory Group on Rape under the chairmanship of Mts. Justice Heilbron, and by Parliament in the context of the Sexual Offences (Amendment) Act 1976. Moreover, it is part of the Criminal Law Revision Committee's wider review of the law on sexual offences.
