§ Mr. DeakinsNo central departmental record is maintained of the paid public appointments made by my right hon. Friend, and the information could be obtained only at disproportionate cost. However, information of this nature was specially collected at 1st February 1976 for the "Directory of Paid Public Appointments Made by Ministers", prepared and published by the Civil Service Department. A copy of the directory is available in the Library of the House.
