§ Mr. William RodgersChapter 4 of the White Paper on Transport Policy discusses a number of measures which local authorities could take to make walking in towns safer. We have already decided to strengthen the Traffic Advisory Unit, but I doubt whether it would help to employ more officials in the regional office.
