§ Mr. MasonThe total number of appointments, including reappointments where appropriate, made by me or my predecessor since February 1974, together with the corresponding information for the last 12 months, is shown below. To give the names of the individuals appointed would involve a disproportionate use of resources.
In addition to these appointments, Northern Ireland Departments make many more appointments under my direction and control in accordance with paragraph 2(2) of Schedule 1 to the Northern Ireland Act 1974. In all these cases Ministers are consulted.
