When they propose to publish the findings of the Committee on Mining Groups Subsidence Compensation.

The Working Group on Mining Subsidence Compensation was a committee of officials and, in accordance with the normal practice in such cases, its report was not published.

My right honourable friend the Secretary of State for Energy, made a Statement in another place on 2nd March 1976 accepting the Group's main recommendations. (Official Report, Vol. 906, col. 497–498). I am sending the noble Baroness a copy of the Statement made by the National Coal Board at that time and a copy of the Board's leaflet setting out the new arrangements.
